Groningen Square
The medieval city center of Groningen has been transformed into something akin to a planned city. By eschewing geography and approaching each street as if it were a subway line, one gets a distorted map like this: Only strict horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines were used.
Along with splash of color, a funky couple of patterns and some lovely illustration work, this map really is an eye-catcher. Groningen has never looked this modern or this much like an SD-card.
Second edition 2021: Enlarged from A2 to B2. Now with ISBN number. Updated with the new Kattenbrug, name change for Museum aan de A, Dudok aan het Diep and separate labels for the Martinitoren and Martinikerk.
